Heywood is the home of Diss Tennis Club and boasts two recently refurbished floodlit hard courts, a fitting venue for the game of kings.
Courts can be booked throughout the week and expert coaching is available on request, for all levels and abilities.

Rebuilt in 2019, Heywood's 3G 5-a-side football pitch is perfect for tournaments, training, or a kick-about with a few mates.
The pitch can be hired by the hour, or you can book regular weekly slots for your team, or a social friendly.
All you need is the right boots for a 3G surface, a ball and some premier skills.

Heywood offers a small gym with a selection of cardio machines, resistance machines and a variety of free weights; suitable for anyone who wants to improve their strength and fitness.
It's a very relaxed environment, you won't find any bodybuilders monopolising the equipment ... or the mirrors.

Constructed in the summer of 2019, our Padel courts are a fantastic addition to the sports facilities available at the club; everyone who has tried Padel at Heywood is now a racket-owning regular.
The fastest growing sport on the planet, Padel combines the basics of Tennis with solid rackets (paddles) and glass walls, slowing the ball and keeping it in play.
Padel is a very accessible sport, anyone can play; you just need to find three people to play with (it's a doubles game) and we'll provide the rackets, balls and a little coaching to get you going.
